99% of scientists agree - climate change is the real deal. However, many people out there are unaware of how to communicate or advocate for efforts to combat our changing climate. Thankfully, a group of mothers banded together in hopes of a better future ahead.
Michigan EARTH Assistant Professor Sierra Petersen is part of a group called Science Moms, which is a group of nonpartisan climate scientists and mothers, working to give our children the planet they deserve.
This group is meant to connect mothers nationwide who are concerned about their children's planet, but aren’t confident in their knowledge about climate change or how they can help. Their goal is to demystify climate science and motivate everyday moms to demand climate change plans and solutions that preserve the planet for our kids.
