Our effort is part of College and University wide missions to expand the enhance diversity, equity and inclusion in academia.
Under the leadership of Vice Provost for Equity and Inclusion & Chief Diversity Officer, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) leads and supports university-wide initiatives focused on the recruitment of a diverse faculty, staff and student body, while fostering an inclusive and equitable university community.
Rackham provides funding to graduate programs and sponsors numerous activities aimed at recruiting an outstanding and inclusive student body. We seek to provide intellectual, social, emotional, and financial support so that students from groups that are historically underrepresented in higher education or in their fields feel welcome and thrive in their studies.
LSA is pleased to participate in the campus wide diversity, equity, and inclusion planning process. Hundreds of faculty, students, and staff have contributed to the LSA plan. This conversation is critically important and always evolving, and we encourage further engagement across the College community.
