About
I am a proud native of Saginaw, MI. I have a servant leadership advising style and naturally infuse encouragement in every advising appointment. After graduate school, I became the Assistant Director in the Office of Multicultural Services at Saginaw Valley State University. In demonstrating excellence and an unmatched impact on students, I became one of the Assistant Directors in the Academic Advisement Center where I created the role of Coordinator of Black, Hispanic, and Multicultural Student Initiatives. This would lead me to become an active leader in the student body and the first point of contact for many Black undergraduates as they entered the U-M campus.
Some of my favorite hobbies include table tennis, spades, and dominoes, of which I am very serious. Alongside those interests, I love to exercise, journal and enjoy nature. What I look forward to most in serving CSP scholars is building lasting relationships and making an impact beyond academics. As an esteemed advisor and asset in the Comprehensive Studies Program, I am humbled to have the opportunity to impact Wolverines from all over the world.
