Peer Instruction & Study Groups

CSP Peer Instruction

Peer instruction is available to CSP Scholars in the following subjects:

  • Economics

  • Math

  • Statistics

  • French 

  • Spanish

  • Environmental Science

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Computer Science

  • Support in other courses can be requested and depends on academic peer leader availability for the subject.

 

Important Fall 2022 Term Dates:

September 12 -  1-1 peer instruction (tutoring) requests begin

September 19 - Walk-in peer instruction (tutoring) begins

How can I request peer instruction through CSP?

If you would like to request an academic peer leader or group session, you will need to email or meet with a CSP advisor. You may schedule an appointment or meet with the drop-in advisor. (If you don’t remember who your advisor is, you can find them under “Student Center” in Wolverine Access.)

Walk-In Session Hours for September 19 - October 27

  • All sessions are in North Quad 2175 from 7-9pm

  • Bring your M-Card to ensure access

Tutoring Resources from the Science Learning Center (SLC)

SLC is partnering with CSP to offer CSP students appointment-based tutoring for the following courses:

  • Biology 171, 172, 225, 305
  • MCDB 310, 322
  • Chemistry 130, 210, 215, 230, 260/261, 351
  • Physics 140, 150, 240, 250

SLC offers study groups to all students in:

  • Biology 171, 172, 225, 305
  • Math 156
  • MCDB 310, 322
  • Chem 130, 210, 215, 215HH, 230, 260/261, 351
  • Physics 140, 150, 240, 250

SLC also offers drop-in tutoring to all students in:

  • Biology 171, 172:  Sunday - Thursday 4-6 PM
  • Chemistry 130, 210, 215:  Sunday 4-8 PM and Monday - Thursday 4-7 PM

Drop-in tutoring is offered in the SLC Help Room (1720 Chemistry).
