First Year Bridge Scholars PLUS

Bridge Scholars PLUS, is a 1-year program with community-based leadership opportunities through the fourth year. The program includes  common intellectual experiences, collaborative assignments & projects, service learning/community-based learning, and access to diversity/global learning.

Up to 40 Summer Bridge Scholars Program participants who apply will be accepted into Bridge Scholars PLUS. These scholars will receive individualized assistance and guidance from a Peer Academic Coach, register for a common fall and winter course, and participate in a variety of academic, social, and professional programming designed to promote community academic self-efficacy, and growth mindset.

Bridge Second Summer

Bridge Scholars PLUS (BSP) prepares scholars to participate in experiential learning opportunities early and often. Upon successful completeion of the first year of BSP, scholars are eligible to apply for the Bridge Second Summer Scholarship to be used toward an experiential learning program. 

 

Past receipents have utilized the Bridge Second Summer Scholarship towards the following opportunities:
