4th Annual Poster Show-Off a Success
This year the event took place on Monday, December 11th throughout the 7th floor of Weiser Hall. The presenting class was Professor Grims' Complex Systems 270 Agent Based Modelling. This is always a great learning experience for these undergraduates who get practice giving 2-minute Flash Presentations to the whole group and then presenting their posters to smaller groups and answering questions. The guests or 'judges' as well as the other participants, voted on their favorite three posters. A total of eight posters were presented.
Pizza and donuts were enjoyed during the Flash Presentations.
While not necessarily reflecting the best technical work, the top three 'Peoples Choice' posters were, in order:
1. Integrated Polarization: Daniel Kaiser, Evan Batsell, Brianna Hutchison (if anyone is interested in learning more about this poster, please Daniel Kaiser at [email protected]
2. Resources, Trade, and Societal Advancement: Peter Flanagan, Michael Im, Trever Cullen, Daniel LaBruna
3. Inequity in Transportation: How It Influences Life Outcomes: Alita Boyse-Peacor, Fangbo Yuan, Mitesh Patel, Raquel Jimenez
CONGRATULATIONS to all presenters and a big thank you to all of the 'judges' that came to check it out.
