Writing posts for the YAC is a personal and powerful way to express your experiences and the impact of your liberal arts education. These stories also encourage young alumni to participate in the life of the college post-graduation. There are many ways to use your voice and contribute to the YAC website. Take a look at previous posts that alumni have shared below, and discover ways you can share your own story. Connect with Kai Mason (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
How do I write a post for the LSA YAC website?
If you are interested in writing a post for the LSA YAC website contact Kai Mason (email@example.com).
Do you have any guidelines or suggestions on what to post?
We do! Young alumni enjoy reading posts about the LSA experience because it gives them an opportunity to reminisce about their own time on campus. Sharing content that is focused on the LSA experience, liberal arts, and post-graduate experiences of our alumni is also encouraged. If you’d like more guidance, you can view the LSA YAC Writer's Guide for inspiration.
Are there other ways to produce creative content for the website?
Yes! Young alumni who are interested in creating content other than writing a post are welcome to do so. This content might include videos, cartoons, or other creative expresssions.
Who visits the LSA YAC website?
Visitors are typically alumni, students, and prospective students.
Who can I contact if I need help during the writing process?
