The LSA YAC counts on young alumni to increase its visibility and promote its mission. Writing posts for the LSA YAC is a personal and powerful way to express your experiences and the impact your liberal arts education had on you. These stories also encourage young alumni to participate in the life of the College post-graduation. There are many ways to use your voice and contribute to the LSA YAC website. Take a look at previous posts that alumni have shared below, and discover ways you can share your story.
How do I write a post for the LSA YAC website?
If you are interested in writing a post for the LSA YAC website contact Amanda Harvey.
Do you have any guidelines or suggestions on what to post?
In fact we do! Young alumni enjoy reading posts about the Michigan experience because it gives them an opportunity to reminisce about their own time on campus. Sharing content that is focused on the LSA experience, liberal arts, and post-graduate experiences of our alumni is also encouraged. If you’d like more direction, you can view the LSA YAC Writer's Guide for inspiration.
Are there other ways to produce creative content for the website?
Yes! Young alumni who are interested in creating content other than writing a post are welcome to do so. This content could include videos, cartoons, pictures, memes, and/or list posts.
Who visits the LSA YAC website?
Visitors are typically alumni, students and prospective students. They are eager to read about the experiences that young alumni have had at the University.
Who can I contact if I need help during the writing process?
