Candle Lighting for Hope and Remembrance

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one due to cancer is invited to attend this annual event. Together, candles are lit to commemorate those individuals lost. The evening includes comments and readings from family members, faculty and staff. Participants are encouraged to bring photos or mementos of their loved ones. The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m., with resources and refreshments available beginning at 6 p.m.

This event is co-sponsored by the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Center for South Asian Studies, and the Medical Arts Program at the U-M Medical School.
