LSA Custom Web Development Service Technical Specifications
This page provides information to the Custom Pilot option of the LSA Web Services and LSAIT’s new faculty-specific web development services. Unlike the Vignette Content Management System or the LSA WordPress environment, this option is most useful primarily for those technically-inclined users with specific software needs. Neither LSA Web Support nor LSAIT provides specific technical support after the initial set-up and provisioning.
This web service is built upon cPanel, a popular hosting solution for web hosting used by commercial vendors such as GoDaddy.com, HostGator.com, or LiquidWeb.com. The LSA environment provides a traditional LAMP stack with Linux, Apache, MySql, and PHP/Perl/Python available.
The following table provides a technical rundown of the cPanel environment.
