We have scheduled a major AEM upgrade on Monday, April 8, 2019. Web Editors will not be able to access AEM author mode from April 5-10.
All content updates must be completed by 5pm on Friday, April 5. Scheduled updates, such as homepage events, will display as expected. No downtime is expected for public-facing web content. Web Services will send an all clear when the work is complete, we estimate this will be on Wednesday, April 10.
Dates to Note:
April 5 at 5pm: Content Freeze Begins (web editors will not have access to author mode)
April 8-9: AEM 6.4 Upgrade & Testing
April 10: Scheduled All Clear

By upgrading to AEM 6.4, the College will have a more stable and secure web platform. The upgraded product will be hosted on new servers and networks. All associated configurations were reexamined and reimplemented using the latest practices. After the upgrade, we expect to continue implementing the new UI and requested features with regular minor version updates.
