As some of you may have noticed, there were significant changes made to the way search works on LSA websites!

Now when a site visitor submits a search in the search bar, a new display area overlays the existing page content.

This new display area contains:

1* - your paginated search results
2* - the page number of the results you are currently on
3* - " Previous | Next " functionality to navigate through the pages of results
* see attached image

My favorite part?

The visitor never leaves the page they were on until they click a search result!

If the user doesn't find what they were searching for, they can just click anywhere outside of the search display area to close it and continue browsing their current page. No back button necessary.

Check it out for yourself. Go throw your department name, your job title, or any other random bit of text into the search bar and see the new functionality in action.
