An Ann Arbor native, Alicia always knew that she wanted to be a Wolverine!  After finishing her bachelor's degree in May 2013, Alicia started her Master's degree in Archives and Records Management at the UM School of Information.  Alicia began working with the Mammal Division as an intern on the EMu database project.  With this project, she is assisting with data cleanup, georeferencing, and database mapping.  In addition to working with the Mammal Division, Alicia also will assist other LSA museum collections to prepare for the transition to EMu.

"I hope to gain insight into the workings of a research collection and a university museum.  I believe this internship will provide a concrete experience in several types of museum collections I might not have a chance to experience."
