As you know, 2018 was a momentous year for the Museum of Anthropological Archaeology. We have now fully vacated Ruthven and are settling in to our new (temporary) facility at the School of Education. In the spirit of new beginnings, please enjoy this video, filmed in May 2018.
Now that this move is over, we will begin to plan the next one: to permanent space on central campus in the old chemistry building. That move is scheduled for 2022. We aim to design a state-of-the-art, cutting-edge museum, one that complements our beautiful new curation facility at the Research Museums Center.
Our gratitude goes out to those who have supported the Museum financially. Thank you! Your gifts help make us one of the top archaeology programs in the world. Gifts underwrite curator research and undergraduate and graduate student education. To make a donation to UMMAA, follow this link.
Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a very happy New Year.
