The Department of Statistics would like to extend a huge congratulations to Ph.D. students Caleb Ki and Drew Yarger who have both been awarded with 2019 NSF Graduate Research Fellowships. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is an outstanding acknowledgement that recognizes and supports exceptional graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines. The GRFP has a reputation for opening opportunities for international research and professional development, and we are thrilled to celebrate in the achievement of our students.

Congratulations also to their advisors: Jonathan Terhorst and Ed Ionides for Caleb, and Stilian Stoev and Tailen Hsing for Drew.
