What inspired you to major in Sociology?

Being able to better understand the world I live in.

What classes have you most enjoyed? Why?

I really like Soc 310 because I am able to conduct research that really matters to me.

Have you participated in an internship or research experience?

I have assisted in conducting research on first generation college students within the Sociology department, and I've worked three summers as a dental assistant.

What advice would you give to students considering a major in Sociology at UM?

I think the University offers such a wide range of sociology topics that it's really easy to find something you truly love, and sociology really gives you the tools to understand the world better, and potentially make a change in the future.

What do you hope to do after graduating from Michigan?

I hope to go onto dental school.

Where is the best place in Ann Arbor to get late-night study food?

I love Jimmy Johns -- a classic.
