It has been announced that three UM Sociology graduate students have received Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowships from the Social Science Research Council (SSRC).  The recipients of 2011 awards are: Jose Bortoluci, Fiona Greenland, and Elizabeth Young.  Only 60 of these fellowships are given out nationally for all humanities and social science disciplines; they are intended to help early-state graduate students formulate effective doctoral dissertation proposals.  Congratulations Jose, Fiona, and Elizabeth!
