Why Join an SLC Study Group?
- Study and tackle challenging course concepts with the same group of peers for two hours each week.
- Receive guidance and support from a trained Study Group Facilitator who has already successfully completed the course at UM.
- Get supplemental materials that are relevant to course content and exams.
- Build meaningful relationships with peers who are learning the same, often rigorous, material.

Therefore, study group members who miss three meetings in a term will be dropped from the study group in order to allow students on the waitlist to join. If you are dropped from a study group for non-attendance, you will not be allowed to rejoin the same study group unless approved through a meeting with the Study Group Program Staff (email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an appointment).
