Note about orientation:
Once you arrive on campus and the Summer Bridge Scholars Program begins, you will receive more details about summer orientation. For RC-SBS, your orientation will take place in mid-July in East Quad over two days. On Day I July 12, you will meet with your RC Academic Services staff team, receive support as your are guided through RC and LSA academic requirements, and have dinner with RC Peer Advisors in East Quad who will help you backpack your classes for the fall. On the evening of Day II July 13, you will return to meet with an RC Academic Advisor to register for courses one-on-one.
There is no need to register for orientation - you’re all set!
"The RC has been amazing for me!
One of the things that I've enjoyed most about coming from Bridge to the RC is the ability to still build a close relationship with my professors. The professors' offices are in the RC so it was fairly easy to meet them often and get to know them really well. As well, the classes are quite small so it was a lot easier to befriend people in my RC classes. As for the language component of the RC, I thought it was challenging but extremely enjoyable. I could see myself learning and retaining so much at a very fast pace with the well designed structure of the RC language program."
