Abigail Stewart has been elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Fellows are elected "in recognition of their contributions to innovation, education, and scientific leadership. The tradition of electing AAAS Fellows began in 1874 to recognize members for their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications." Abby is one of only 8 psychologists in the world who were elected this year, and the only one from the University of Michigan. She will be presented with a gold and blue rosette pin at the 2017 AAAS Annual Meeting.
