Undeclared Students

Students interested in either a major or minor in PitE must first attend an Information Session or talk with one of our Peer Advisors during open advising.

Hannah Dehetre

Hannah is from Garden City, MI and is a PitE Major with minors in Earth Sciences and Language, Literature and Culture in Ancient Greece. Hannah would like to be a PitE Peer Advisor for life.

Chloe Hypes

Chloe is from Munith, MI and is Pite Major with minors in Food and Environment and Earth Sciences. Chloe will likely retire from PitE at an advanced age.

Declared Students

Students that have declared the PitE Major or a PitE Minor can make an appointment with a PitE Academic Advisor. Students shoud make an appointment for advising on:

  • Specializations (for majors)
  • PitE Honors Program
  • Major/Minor releases
  • PitE Club
  • Internships

Jaime Langdon

Jaime is from Flint, MI and has worked at the University of Michigan for over twelve years with ten years of experience advising undergraduate students.  This is her eighth year in Program in the Environment.  Her academic interests are in the social sciences, including history, politics and policy, environmental studies, and women's studies.

Jeremiah Thompson

Jeremiah is from Tallahassee, FL and has been one type of employee or another with the University of Michigan for four years. Jeremiah is the most recent addition to the PitE staff. He is a hooper, volleyballer, and Fortnite Victory Royale Specialist.
