Speaker: Ron Koenig (U-M MSTOP)

Dr. Koenig will discuss the MD/PhD career path, including undergraduate preparation, the specifics of MD/PhD training, post-graduate training and beyond. He will provide specifics about the University of Michigan MD/PhD Program (MSTP), but also will speak more generically about these programs and professional opportunities.

Dr. Koenig is Professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes. He has been Director of the University of Michigan MSTP since 1995. His research and clinical interests are both focused on thyroid cancer. Dr. Koenig received his MD from Cornell University Medical College and his PhD from Rockefeller University.

This seminar is open to graduates as well as undergraduates. Pizza and Drinks Provided.
