Ezra Keshet will join Philosophy as an Assistant Professor with a dry appointment starting September 1. Ezra is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics. He holds a PhD in semantics from MIT. He has published in top linguistics and philosophy journals (Journal of Semantics, Linguistics and Philosophy, Linguistic Inquiry). Ezra has co-taught (with Eric Swanson) a cross-listed graduate seminar on discourse constraints in anaphora, and regularly teaches the Linguistics Department’s graduate-level introduction to Semantics and Pragmatics course, a go-to cognate for philosophy PhD students. Please join us in welcoming Ezra to Philosophy.
