Michigan Theater - 603 E Liberty St

Join Philosophy professors David Manley & Sarah Moss for a screening of Memento and for a brief discussion of the film.

Memento raises a number of fascinating philosophical questions: is something more than coherence necessary for beliefs to be justified? Is it more important that your desires be satisfied, or that you believe that your desires are satisfied? What justifies your belief that your memory itself is reliable? Professors Manley and Moss lead a discussion relating the film to issues of interest to contemporary philosophers.
