OS professor Sara Soderstrom is awarded the first annual Services for Students with Disabilities Student Advisory Board: Adam Miller Faculty and Staff Appreciation Award.

This award in memory of Adam Miller, an Alum of the University, recognizes a faculty and/or staff member who makes, or has made, an outstanding contribution to the life of a student(s) with a disability at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Soderstrom continually tackles the mission of the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities and supports the University of Michigan’s commitment to equity, and diversity by providing exceptional support services for students with disabilities.  Her commitment to students with disabilities is creative, helpful, and generous. This award was at the James T. Neubacher Award Ceremony on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Rackham Assembly Hall.
