Every year OS seniors apply to act as student representatives to two important constituencies to the OS community. The OS Advisory Committee consists of appointed or elected UM faculty from within and outside the OS program and concerns itself most centrally with maintaining the academic excellence of the program. The OS Advisory Committee advises the Director on matters of policy, personnel issues, and offers advice on promising new directions for development.

This year’s student representatives to the OS Advisory Committee are Jennifer Liang and Eric Stulberg.

The OS Leadership Committee (OSLC) consists of highly accomplished Michigan alumni who have supported the OS program through their time, financial gifts, internships, and networking with our students. They work with the program to develop or participate in initiatives that expand learning opportunities for OS students. This year’s student representatives to the OSLC are Charlotte Keeler and Laura Parkinson.
