What's Happening @ the Hub

With all that's happening on campus this Fall, the Hub will help identify actions you can take every month to further along your career exploration, regardless of where you are in your undergraduate journey.

The month of September is all about preparing for career, job, and internship fairs which typically begin mid-September and continue on through October. Although they will be held virtually, their goal is the same: to connect students directly with employers. Check out upcoming career fairs being hosted by the University Career Center.

How can you prepare? This free online Canvas tool, Explore Career Fairs, walks you through effective ways of communicating your experiences and skills during conversations with recruiters and how to maintain professional connections with them even after the event. Make sure to click "Join course" to access the learning tool.

Other steps to consider:

Employer Connections are special opportunities to connect directly with employers representatives and gain a deeper understanding about their organizations, job functions, and available career opportunities.
