PiAf

Princeton in Africa matches talented and passionate college graduates with partners working across Africa for year-long service projects. The PiAf program is open to graduating seniors and young alumni from any accredited college or university in the U.S. PiAf Fellows have helped improve education and public health, source fresh water and alternative energy, increase family incomes, and so much more.

Institutional Endorsement: This program does not require institutional endorsement; applications must be submitted directly to the Princeton in Asia program.

Application Deadline:  The application will be available starting in late August; the deadline is usually in late October.  Click here for the latest information on the application cycle.

Eligibility:

  • U.S. citizenship not required
  • Young alumni and graduating seniors from any college or university accredited in the United States are eligible to apply
  • Prior experience in Africa is not a prerequisite.

Application Instructions: In addition to completing the online application, applicants must submit the following

  • Completed online application form including your resume, a photo, and an unofficial copy of your transcript from each institution you attended
  • An official transcript from each undergrad/grad institution you attended
  • A letter of recommendation (submitted through the LOR form, www.princetoninafrica.org/LOR/)
  • Application fee of $50 USD
