Alexander von Humboldt Foundation's German Chancellor Fellowship
The German Chancellor Fellowship allows seniors, recent graduates, and graduate students to spend one year conducting a project of their design with the host of their choice in Germany. The project can be in any field, but should be research-based and create a positive long-term impact. Center for Arabic Study Abroad
Center for Arabic Study Abroad offers advanced level training in Arabic language and culture to qualified American students at The American University in Cairo and Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman. Applicants to the various CASA programs must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and should have a minimum of 3 years of formal instruction in Arabic prior to joining CASA. This program is jointly administered by Harvard University's Center for Middle Eastern Studies.
The Christianson Grant is awarded to individuals who have arranged their own work abroad programs. Proposed programs must be at least six months in length and emphasize a work component. The grant program does not support independent research projects or academic study abroad programs. The grant program is administered by InterExchange.
William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India
William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India provides a select group of young American professionals the opportunity to serve marginalized and underprivileged communities in India by working with NGOs for a period of 10 months.
Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX)
The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals the opportunity to spend one year in each others' countries, studying, interning, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program.

Cultural Vista Programs provide a number of international internship and exchange programs, typically lasting between 3 and 18 months.
Fulbright-Clinton Fellowship Formerly known as the Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship, and renamed in 2013 for former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Fellowship provides Fulbright-Clinton Fellows with a chance to contribute to the strengthening of the public sector abroad by serving in professional placements within foreign government ministries while simultaneously carrying out an academic research project. The fellowship currently offers opportunities for Fulbright-Clinton Fellows to serve in professional placements within the governments of Bangladesh, Burma, Cote d’Ivoire, Guatemala, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Malawi, Nepal, Timor-Leste, and Samoa.
German Chancellor Fellowship
German Chancellor Fellowship Up to 50 fellowships for recent graduates and young professionals in politic, economics, media, administration, and culture to complete a year-long, self-designed fellowships year. Citizens of Brazil, China, India, Russian, and the US are eligible to apply.
International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS)
International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) – An Opportunity to Work with Members of the German Parliament (Bundestag). This program is open to university graduates who are U.S. citizens and have a very good knowledge of the German language. Candidates should also be familiar with the basic features of the German governmental system. The IPS program enables participants to gain first-hand knowledge of Germany’s parliamentary system and political decision-making during a 3-month work placement with a Member of the German Parliament. Participants will also take part in a rich educational program with the German political foundations and have the chance to enroll in university classes, spending a total offive months in the German capital (March 1 through July 31, 2017).
Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellows Program
Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellows Program During each two-year fellowship cycle, 12-15 Leland Fellows are placed with international development organizations that include international and local NGOs, U.S. government agencies and multilateral organizations. Fellows work on a variety of food security issues, such as agricultural development, nutrition, natural resource management, agribusiness development and women’s empowerment. Includes a monthly stipend, health insurance and travel expenses.
Taymore World Theater Fellowship
The founding principle of The Julie Taymor World Theater Fellowship is to provide travel opportunities for enterprising young theater directors to immerse themselves in artistic experiences beyond our borders; thereby, expanding their creative horizons to include previously undiscovered styles and techniques which can best be experienced in direct dialogue and work with creative artists from other cultures. It is our hope that through travel to and dialogue with world theater artists, American fellowship recipients will increase their creative capacity and return to enliven the American theater with new productions fueled by their expanded perspective of world theater in Africa, Central and South America, Asia, and/or the Middle East.
