Meet Our Peer Advisors...
Hello! My name is Megan Sweeney. I am currently a senior studying Neuroscience. After graduating this December I am planning on taking a gap year before attending medical school. On campus I an very involved in Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan, an organization that raises both funds and awareness for pediatric rehabilitation programs and C.S Mott and Beaumont Children's Hospitals. I am also a member of the Feldman Lab in the Department of Neurology which focuses on the study of stem cells as treatment for neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, I work at the UH Hospital as a Patient Services Assistant. In my free time I love exploring new music, movies, and enjoying the (usually) beautiful Michigan outdoors.Feel free to drop by and ask me questions about the neuroscience major, the pre-med track, research opportunities, or anything else about extracurriculars here on campus!
