Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)

Michigan Research and Discovery Scholars (MRADS) is the residential affiliate of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP).

MRADS students participate in UROP research projects. In addition, MRADS students live together, enroll in ALA104: "Introduction to Research", attend MRADS specific Research Seminars, and meet with in-house MRADS Peer Advisors. At the end of the winter term, MRADS has a Spring Research Symposium that is separate from UROP. UROP is a great option for students looking to participate in research that do not want the live-in requirement.
