Ben Fortson is spending a very busy and productive sabbatical year at the Freie Universit├Ąt Berlin. Here he is in his own words:

I'm in Berlin on sabbatical for the year, with my wife Kelly Askew, who's got a fellowship at the Wissenschaftskolleg. I'm a visiting associate professor (Gastdozent) at the Free University and just taught a week-long intensive Indo-European course in their annual Indo-European Summer School. I'm supposed to be spending the time writing another book, probably on Plautus; currently I've got a couple of articles (one big and one small) in press on a particular Indo-European infinitive morpheme and its history, and I'm working on some issues in Latin morphology and phonology.
