The Latina/o Studies Program presents a talk by Marta Moreno Vega, PhD.
Dr. Moreno Vega is the director of the Caribbean Cultural Center in NY; author of The Altar of My Soul: The Living Traditions of Santeria (2001) and When the Spirits Dance Mambo: Growing Up Nuyorican in El Barrio (2004); and coeditor of Women Warriors of the Afro-Latina Diaspora (2012).
