The FAST (Field Archaeology Series on Thursday) lecture series began in 2006 and continues to be organized by the current students in the Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology. The series explores the wide interests and research questions of the IPCAA student body as well as the current projects of the Kelsey staff. As such the lectures present various methods, materials, and types of fieldwork ranging from reports of current excavation work over chemical analysis of materials as well as research in museums and on finds from past excavations. Sponsored by the Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology and the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology. Reception 5:30-6:00.
