Faculty Supplementary Funding

Judaic Studies offers Supplementary Funding to all faculty within the Program, those with FTE, Dry, and Affiliate status, in support of research related endeavors and the development of scholarly activity. Examples of funding requests to be considered are: conference attendance, research travel, publication expenses, library or archival fees, editorial and translation services, and the like.

Applications for funding should include the below information.

• Purpose of Funding. Provide a detailed description, including travel dates, if applicable, and relevance to the field of Judaic Studies.
• Amount of Request
• Itemized Budget
• Other Sources of Financial Support Available and/or Received
• Indicate if you have access to a research account, including a BFI allocation, and why this account is not sufficient for this funding request.

Applications will be reviewed monthly, on an ongoing basis, by the Executive Committee. Decisions will be made on the merits of the application. It is expected that individual renewable research funds or start-up funds be used first. Funds must be used during the approved fiscal year, unless noted otherwise.
