Abstract: The Telling It model of teaching undergraduates and graduate students how to enter community and engage with children and youth who are high risk to fail at school has become a _ÑÒtried and true_Ñ methodology that other institutions have been eager to replicate as evidenced by the reaction to presentations given at conferences around the country. Receiving a grant from the Instructional Technology Committee would make possible the purchase of a digital camera and the associated personnel and costs so the Telling It model can be recorded for use in an interactive web-based curriculum. To date, granting agencies have not permitted the use of their monies for purchasing equipment so filming the work in the university classroom and in the field has been challenging. A digital camera and financial support for our videographer are essential to see this project continue.
