Welcome, Class of 2019.
Orientation for Honors takes place June 8 - August 4, based on the Office of New Student Programs (ONSP) calendar.
In the three-day program, students are escorted to the Honors Office on day two; your group will connect with an Honors Peer Mentor outside the Undergraduate Library (affectionately known as the Ugli) at approximately 11am. You'll have lunch with your cohort, meet the Honors Director, receive your first-year summer book, and learn about the various areas of coursework at U-M, meeting with our student academic peer advisors. You will also meet with your assigned Honors advisor, who will engage you in a conversation about your undergraduate aspirations and tentative scheduling.
In the evening of day two, you will return to the Perlman Honors Commons to navigate Wolverine Access and "backpack" your planned F15 schedule.
The morning of day three, you will meet back in the Honors office to review your schedule with your advisor and depart.
(Parents meet with an Honors staff member on the morning of day two for a Q&A time.)
