The Global Engagement Internship is a year-long service learning component of first-year GSP students' signature course sequence: Defining Critical Global Issues (fall term) and Addressing Critical Global Issues (winter term). Working together in diverse Collaborative Groups (CG), students conduct research, design action plans, and implement initiatives that meet the identified needs of our partner NGOs, schools, and non-profits around the world. CG students intern directly with these local and global partners to complete projects that help to achieve the organizations' social justice goals. Students document their work during the year-long process, and the CGs share their experiences and achievements through presentations at our annual Global Engagement Symposium in April.
