Spring and summer German language courses are a great opportunity for students to learn a lot in a short amount of time while taking advantage of small class sizes. Intensive German language courses provide the opportunity to rapidly increase your level of fluency and prepare for a study, internship, or work abroad experience!

Current U-M students may register for Spring or Summer term language course(s) via Wolverine Access.

Summer Language Institute courses are open to guest (non-U-M) students, who may register for credit or for a Program Fee option (not-for-credit status). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the first day of class. Application materials can be found at lsa.umich.edu/sli.

All U-M and non-U-M students wishing to take a spring or summer language course for credit are responsible for paying regular U-M tuition. Tuition rates can be found at the U-M Registrar's Office website.
