FTVM Class-Related Production Opportunities

FTVM 304 WOLV TV Casting Call - Nov. 11 and 14

SAC 304 WOLV TV is having auditions for a satirical morning-style show that focuses on college life.

We are looking for two anchors who are able to read from a teleprompter and improvise comedy. We are also seeking additional people to play segment correspondents and “special guests.” These would involve more character work.

Anyone is welcome to audition, no previous experience is required. The Auditions will take place on Monday 11/12 and Wednesday 11/14 from 7-9pm in North Quad Studio B.

CAPS & CSG Video Production Casting Call - Nov. 19, 30, Dec 1 & 2

What is this production about?

This collaboration between CAPS in Action (CIA) and CSG is a video production series that will be breaking myths about CAPS through a four video mini series installment. These videos will be published on CAPS and CSG website and social media with potential prospects of showcasing to incoming freshman.

Who are we?

CAPS in Action (CIA) is a student organization dedicated to making the U of M community a more holistically healthy environment by focusing on campus mental health. CIA is an active hands-on group that creates and implements mental health outreach efforts. We seek to empower students through a culture of care and inclusion.

*CIA is facilitated by CAPS professionals and supports CAPS outreach initiatives.


CSG is the Central Student Government who strive to provide valuable services, programs, and events to students.

Sherlock: investing CAPS on campus

Student 1: overwhelmed student feeling exhausted and very skeptical of CAPS

Student 2: student 1’s friend suggesting and encouraging CAPS help

Student 3: an engineering student who learns about CAPS from a flyer; having some relationship issues

Student 4: A WebMD nerd who encourages Student 3 to get relationship advice

CIA Presenter: A CIA member presenting a CAPS 101 presentation slide

CIA Representative: helps student 1 and 2 learn more about CAPS

November 30 Dress Rehearsal - must be off-book

Availability December 1st & December 2nd
