Join the cast and crew for the world premiere of Thaw of the Dead at the Royal Starr Film Festival, an international four-day movie gala celebrated in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan, featuring more than 100 screenings of shorts, features, & documentaries.

The 85-minute film follows the desperate struggle of a group of survivors hiding in an abandoned dam as the snows recede from a frozen Northern Michigan landscape ... that just so happens to be in the grips of a zombie apocalypse! Shot in and around Traverse City, MI and Leelanau County, the film stars Benjamin Busch (The Wire, Generation Kill) and Heather Fairbanks (AMC's Low Winter Sun).

The Royal Starr Film Festival was the first of three festivals (thus far) to officially select the film for a screening; it was also selected by Another Hole in the Head film festival in San Francisco, CA, and the Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia, PA, where the film is nominated for a very prestigious "Claw Award."
