Life at GLACE

Station residents live in rustic cabins or in a central dormitory. Students usually stay in one-room cabins served by central shower and toilet facilities. Specific roommate requests must be mutual and are honored insofar as possible. All residents are responsible for keeping their own accommodations clean. Housing is furnished with the essential furniture only (twin beds, desks, chairs, lamps). Change for laundry is available in the Station store, as are laundry detergent and basic toiletries.

See the online Guide to Living at the Station for details on transportation, community living standards, and other logistics. Station staff and program leaders will be in touch with registered students to coordinate transportation and answer questions about camp life in advance of orientation. Students will also participate in an orientation upon arrival in camp.
