Are You an LSA Transfer Student?

In LSA, we recruit the curious. Bright minds on the frontlines of research and in the classroom traverse topics from art history to molecular biology. LSA’s deep resources help create an environment in which thriving isn’t the exception, it’s the rule.

Every year LSA welcomes more than 800 new transfer students through multiple pathways who arrive on campus with a  multitude of experiences, identities, and transferable skills.

Who Transfers?

  • Students currently attending a two-year or four-year college
  • Students who have taken time off from school to work, raise a family or travel
  • Military veterans who have served their country
  • International students currently studying in the United States or abroad
  • And many more!

It’s never too early to begin planning your transfer into LSA.

In LSA, we also recognize that transfer students might have concerns about finding their place and questions about how to take advantage of all LSA offers in a condensed timeframe. That is why we developed an array of resources offered exclusively for transfer students.

We have the tools and resources to help you explore how LSA might become the next step on your educational journey. From understanding admissions requirements, to learning how your credits will transfer, to advice on how your coursework at your current school can prepare you for success in LSA, we can help you explore your options.

Transfer Bridges to the Humanities@Michigan
