A select group of BLI Fellows traveled Denver, CO during fall break, October 14 - 17, 2017, for an all expenses paid, exclusive access opportunity to meet some of Michigan's most successful alumni.
With help from our Denver alumni partners, we curated high impact opportunities that allowed our students to experience the reality of 21st century leadership through intense, but often brief, chances to interact with and observe leadership in action.
Highlights of the trip included shadowing alums for a day, a behind the scenes tour of the Denver International Airport, a Pepsi plant tour, Rock Climbing, hiking in Chautauqua Park, meet-up with CU students, along with attending networking events, and experiencing the regional vibe.
A big thank you to David Depoy, K.C. Groves, and Hannah-Hunt Moeller all for their time, effort, and dedication to helping us engage with Denver alumni.
We are grateful for Chelsea Knowles and Ryan Robinson’s support. We appreciate the generosity of David DePoy for hosting our closing reception, and Hannah-Hunt Moeller for organizing our Denver walking tour and the Happy Hour and Hellos event. We thank Allison Budd for the behind the scenes tour of the Denver International Airport, and Jeff Hall for making the connection. A shout out to Expedition Backcountry Adventures for the excellent rock climbing adventure, and the Pepsi team for the tour.
We truly value all of the Denver Alumni mentors for sharing their time and experience with our students. We appreciate the many people, especially the CU Boulder President’s Leadership Class, who made our Denver trip memorable.
