The historic Detroit Observatory, on the corner Ann and Observatory streets in Ann Arbor, is owned by U-M and managed by the Bentley Historical Library.
The observatory is about to get a major addition! It will increase the functionality of the place, and let us do many more events, but unfortunatly, it means we'll be closed for a year and a half. You can read more about it in the University Record article.
Before we close, we'll have one last event, where you can learn about the renovations and tour the existing building. Weather permitting, the Fitz will be open for viewing. We'd apreciate an RSVP. For a complete schedule, more information, and RSVP information, please visit the event page on the Bentley's site.
In the meantime, you can check us out on Facebook (below), or subscribe to our Google calendar for updates, and we'll see you in fall 2020!
