About
Amanda Schwartz is a fifth year math PhD student. She is interested in algebraic combinatorics and studies positroid links. She uses SageMath, a mathematical programming software based on Python, regularly in her research to compute examples and form conjectures.
She is excited to work with COMPFOR students and to help provide them a fun and engaging introduction to various applications of programming.
In her free time, Amanda can usually be found reading, watching movies, studying languages, or baking cookies.
