Provide administrative support for the directors of graduate, undergraduate and translation studies, primarily with recruitment, advising, and maintaining student records
Serve as the initial point of contact for all current and prospective graduate students
Coordinate the admissions and recruiting process for the PhD program
Manage budgeting, accounting, and financial transactions; track financial commitments to graduate students and present funding options to the director of graduate studies, department chair, and chief administrator
Provide curriculum maintenance and support for the undergraduate and graduate programs, including course advertising, and revisions to degree programs
Serve as the department liaison for academic and student issues with Rackham Graduate School, the Literature, Sciences, & the Arts Dean’s office, Registrar, Benefits office, and Newnan Undergraduate Advising Center
Participate on the department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee
Manage the hiring process and provide support for Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs)
