Irena Klepfisz, 2019 keynote speaker at CLIFF, has published an essay based on her keynote in In Geveb, the online journal for Yiddish studies. The essay also contains recordings of the three poems she read, imbedded within the text for a multi-modal reading/listening experience. She graciously dedicated the piece to the CLIFF organizers: Duygu Ergun, Grace Hobbs, Genta Nishku, Shalmali Jadhav and Shira Schwartz.
