Arianna Afsari will talk about “Third Poetry,” an anti-colonial, militant poetics that aspires toward the disalienation of the subject through the estrangement of language. Her analysis centers Argentine poet and leftist political activist, Juan Gelman (1930-2014), and his guerilla poetics of resistance.
