Michigan Association of Communication Studies (MACS)
The department sponsors the Michigan Association for Communication Studies (MACS), an undergraduate student group open to Communication and Media majors and prospective majors. The organization meets on a regular basis in the fall and winter terms to explore career and internship opportunities in communication and media-related markets. A primary goal of MACS is to provide a forum that encourages student leadership, social interaction, networking, and professional development. For more information about MACS or to be added to their e-mail group, please visit them on Facebook or Twitter.
Our MACS peer advisors can answer questions about general major requirements, internship planning, resume and cover letter advice, and provide information about MACS. Walk-in advising is available. Make an Advising Appointment to find the peer advising walk-in hours and location.
