Tupur Chatterjee

Tupur Chatterjee is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Global Media Studies Initiative at Department of Communication and Media. She has a Ph.D. in Media Studies from the Department of Radio-TV-Film at the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Global Media and Communication from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her work focuses on media in relation to built environments and urban culture in the Global South. She is currently working on a book on architecture, gender, and public anxiety in the contemporary media city. At the Global Media Studies Initiative, she is launching a collaborative research project on digital platforms and entertainment cultures in South Asia.
